The ligure Brooklyn bridge

Immagine
It was The Bridge. I used to love crossing it,  made me feel like I knew exactly how Brooklyn Bridge was! I grew up driving through it and under it with my father, with my mother, with my childhood friends, with one of the first boyfriends in route for a romantic drink in Piazza Delle Erbe, on a train to Sampierdarena. It was a symbol, Genova! It was where you could see the nearby Ikea, where you would have a second glimpse of the sea. Crossing the bridge was a ritual an experience more than anything... I remember a younger myself sat in the back seat looking outside the window at the bridge's ties, thinking how majestic it was, years passed by and it made always the same impression on me, even now, whenever I have to go to the airport after a mini-break, that bridge had always its charm. It was a spectacle. Imagine just this morning how shocked I felt when I've discovered what happened. The bridge collapsed. How can a bridge collapse? How can this happen in 201...

Flight back to reality

Guess what? My flight is an hour delayed, whilst I started to think about all the possibilities I have to get home at a decent time I thought I could dedicate some time to my blog! With great surprise is a pleasure to be able to sit here, in the airport departure hall with a little bit of time for me to think about the past days. On Friday, my father drove me to Serravalle where took a train to come and visit my boyfriend towards the South of Italy. It is incredible how life here is always beautiful! They say is boring as fuck, because from their side there’s nothing to do, but I think is just great. I totally mean it! Friends gather together at the bar, probably just smoking cigarettes and gulping beers! But they are together, talking, exchanging stories, updating each other on their own life. People down here are so warm, there’s a genuine interest towards the individuals around you. Every time I come back is a feast! Makes my heart so full! It is such a great feeling to be su...

Different house different colour same sofa.

"Where do you live?" "Anywhere" That's thr obvious answer I've got everytime somebody's asking me. I don't have bed, I don't have room, I don't have a proper space to leave my stuff. He, my friend, yesterday told me. "You miss your space, the time to put your music on, the time to reach your greatest creativity in ur own thoughts" "Right." But what shall I do ? If my heart and my mind don't have any time to rest and being quiet. I just follow my feelings, ending every time perhpas under the same roof. But in a different space. If I think that this one is the closest way to have a relationship.. I'm wrong. And I know that. Can I do something about ? Do I need a doctor ? Or medicine ? Trying ur best to be strong, to let understand people that you don't mind. That it could be in that way cause for you is fine. Having thousands of questions that none understand. Being ignored everytime you try to talk about ...

Four days of peace

Immagine
At the end of last month I spent four days in Italy in order to attend to my nephew's baptism. My minibreak has been really fast obviously four days are never enough to see family, friends and who else. But is still something that makes you feel close every time you see them, even though for a while like this which has just passed. The ceremony was really nice and full of children talking aloud and laughing with their parents running behind them and trying to keep them quiet. I've done quite a lot photos I won't post all of them but the most impressive to me.  Later on, we went in a nice place in Genova's neighborhood. the weather wasn't helpful so we spent most of the time indoors eating traditional italian food, talking about our lives and especially my sister was encharged to the children's entertaing. I had really good times and I'm grateful to have my family behind all the time, even though I'm in a different country, even though I'...

it's gonna be my ruined

I don't know how I am supposed to feel but all the time since I started to read books when I finish one is like something really little changes in me, feelings, way to act, points of view. Perhaps some changes are temporary, actually most of them are, but some are permanent and It doesn't need to be explained is just something which is brought out from yourself, you cannot deal with that, not at all, It doesn't hurt, it doesn't make you feel better or worst, it just changes. Charlie has changed me. And I feel it, like when you are in summer at the seaside and you just let floating yourself in the sea and suddenly a tall wave come to slip away your trips and making you swallow liters of water. If I had to describe it I'd definitely do in this way. When you're reading about someone who seems exactly passing through what you're passing in or you passed is always rather shocking than whatever else someone's story could be told you since those things are ...
